Turn a Telegram message into an invoice
A Telegram message can hold the brief and the price. You type that price into an invoice and send the link back in Telegram. There is no Telegram bot.
Treat the chat as notes, not as a connection
Telegram is useful because the brief, the file names and the price sit in one thread. It is not connected to InvoiceTXT. Nobody can forward a Telegram message into a special bot and get a bill back. You read the confirmation, type one line for the episode edit and one for the show notes, and you paste the link into the same chat. If the price was in a different currency, say so in the Telegram reply. The public demo formats amounts with a dollar sign. A saved invoice can carry a currency label through the API, and that label still does not convert funds. Group chats are a bad destination for an invoice, because everyone sees the fee. Send it in the private chat with the person who pays.
Quote the confirming message
“As agreed in your note yesterday” tells them which price you used.
One line per deliverable
The edit and the show notes are different pieces of work.
Paste the link in the private chat
A group does not need to see what the producer owes.
Ignore the idea of a bot
If a tool claims it invoices from any Telegram forward, it is not this product.
What to put on this invoice
- The show, the client or the episode
- Each deliverable they accepted
- The due date from the same thread
- A private reply, not a group broadcast
Questions about this job
Do you have a Telegram integration?
No. The message is yours to send.
What if the brief was a forwarded post?
Bill the person who asked you to do the work, not the channel the post came from.
Can I attach the audio on the invoice?
Not inside the PDF. Keep the file in Telegram. The invoice lists the edit, not the waveform.
Telegram stores the yes. You still write the invoice, then you put the link next to that yes.
