Copy-paste text invoice templates for trades

One shape that trades can paste: what you did, the extra the customer can see, when it is due, and the link. Then specialise it.

One shape, then the words for your trade

Trades do not need a different invoicing philosophy. They need the right nouns. The shape is: the job is finished, the main charge, the part or extra, the due rule, the link. A locksmith’s part is a cylinder. A detailer’s extra is pet hair. A cleaner’s extra is the oven. This page uses a mobile mechanic line so you can see the shape with a real part price. Copy it, then replace the nouns with your trade. Do not leave “alternator” in a cleaning text. The guides for each trade on this site are that replacement, already done, for the jobs people search for.

  • The due rule and the link

Questions about this job

Which trade pages are already written?

Plumber, electrician, landscaper, cleaner, photographer and consultant scripts are linked from the template guides. The trade guides cover more jobs.

Can my tech use the same paste?

Yes. Agree the shape once. They fill in the prices from the job note.

Does paste replace a proper invoice?

The paste is the text. The link is the invoice. You want both.

If you only remember one template, remember the four beats. The trade is just the nouns.
