What the invoice can carry

One-click text invoice from notes

Paste the note you already wrote. If the note is a client, prices and a due date, it becomes the invoice without a second form.

The note is the form

The second form is where notes go to be retyped badly. If your note already says who, what and the price, paste it into the invoice line. One action, the preview, then the link. It is one click only when the note is already in the right shape. A diary entry that says “boiler was a nightmare, charged them the usual” is not a note the totals can read. Take ten seconds to write the prices into the note before you leave, and the paste is then the whole admin. Handwritten pages need a typed line first. There is a guide for that. This page is for notes that are already text.

Message you can send

From my job note: boiler, valve and call-out, due in 14 days. https://invoicetxt.com/i/your-link

01

Write prices into the note on site

“The usual” is not a price.

02

Paste the whole line

Do not retype it if the paste is right.

03

Fix commas, not adjectives

The parser needs commas between the client, the prices and the due date.

04

Send the link from the same phone

The note, the invoice and the text should not travel through a laptop in between.

What to put on this invoice

  • A note that already contains prices
  • Commas between the pieces
  • A preview you actually look at
  • The link, sent the same day

Questions about this job

What if my notes app adds smart punctuation?

Replace curly quotes and odd dashes if the preview looks empty. Plain commas work.

Can a shared note from the office be the source?

Yes, if it uses the same shape. Agree the shape so you are not decoding someone else’s abbreviations.

Is there really one click?

Paste, check, send. Anyone who promises zero checking is hiding the typo.

The click is cheap. The note with the prices in it is the real feature.
