Carpet cleaner text-to-invoice

Text the rooms, the stain treatment and the travel or call-out. Carpet cleaning invoices should say which rooms were in the price.

Bill the rooms you cleaned, not the whole house

Carpet jobs are booked as a room count. The invoice should use that count. A stain treatment, a rug, or stairs are extras and belong as lines the customer already accepted while you were looking at the mark. Call-out or parking is a line only if your booking message said so. Due on receipt fits a job that finishes in a morning. Say the rooms in the text: lounge, hall, stairs. “3 rooms” plus the names is better than “3 rooms” alone.

Message you can send

Carpets are done in the three rooms we walked through. Stain treatment and call-out are on the invoice, due today: https://invoicetxt.com/i/your-link

01

Use the room count from the booking

If you cleaned a fourth room, say they added it.

02

Stain treatment is optional and visible

It is a line, not a higher room rate with no explanation.

03

Stairs and rugs are not rooms

Price them as themselves.

04

Send the text before the furniture goes back

They can still see which carpet you mean.

What to put on this invoice

  • Rooms at the booked rate
  • Stain, rug or stair lines they agreed
  • Call-out only if it was in the booking
  • Due on receipt for a same-day job

Questions about this job

What if a stain did not come out?

Say so in the text if you are not charging for a result you did not get. Do not bill a treatment you waived.

Should I invoice before it dries?

Yes. Drying time is not a reason to delay the bill. Tell them how long to stay off the carpet in the same message.

Can an office and a home share wording?

An office invoice should name the floor or the room numbers. A home can use room names.

Room names in the text prevent the “you missed the back bedroom” reply, because the back bedroom was never on the bill.
