On the job

Invoice multiple jobs in one day via text

Each job gets its own text and its own link, sent before you start the next one. A single catch-up session at night mixes the totals.

Close the job in the gap between jobs

Three jobs in a day is where invoicing collapses. The gap between them is ten minutes, which is enough for one line and one text if you do not open a laptop. Do the Cable Run Homes invoice before you knock on the next door. At the end of the day you should have three sent links, not a notes app full of half sentences. If one customer pays cash, mark that one paid so the evening list is only the people who still owe you. Do not combine two households onto one invoice to save time. You will save nothing when you have to split it.

Message you can send

Cable Run Homes is invoiced before I start the next house. 4 hours and the oven, due today: https://invoicetxt.com/i/your-link

01

Send in the gap, not at night

The gap has the right details. The night has blur.

02

One household, one link

Even if the work looked similar.

03

Mark the cash ones before you drive

Your evening list should be true.

04

Keep the line shape identical

Only the name and the prices change, so the gap stays short.

What to put on this invoice

  • A send between jobs
  • Separate links
  • Cash marked paid on the spot
  • A short line you can type in a few minutes

Questions about this job

What if the jobs are for one landlord?

You can still send one invoice per property, or one invoice with a line per property. Do not blend the totals without labels.

What if I run out of signal between jobs?

Store the line in notes and send at the next bar. Do not merge it with the next job’s note.

How many is too many for one person?

When the gap disappears. If you truly have no minutes between jobs, the draft has to be written on site in notes and sent at the first stop. The night is still the wrong place to invent the prices.

The day is a sequence of closed texts. An evening catch-up is where the second house inherits the first house’s oven.
