Send this before you coil the hose

This script assumes a repair with labour, one part and a call-out. Delete the part line if you did not fit one. Delete the call-out if the quote included it. Do not leave a zero line in the message. Put the street where it says “your address”. Net 14 is the due date in the example. If they are paying you before you leave, change the line to due on receipt and say “due now” in the text. The totals in the preview should be the totals in the message. If you round the SMS and not the invoice, they will notice.

Message you can send

Invoice for the boiler at your address: 3 hours, a replacement valve and the call-out. Due in 14 days. https://invoicetxt.com/i/your-link

01

Delete any line you did not do

A valve you did not fit should not be in the script “just in case”.

02

Put the real street in the text

Landlords forward these messages. The address is how they file them.

03

Match due now or due in 14 days to the line

The text and the invoice should not disagree.

04

Send it while you can still point at the part

That is the point of a ready-to-send script.

What to put on this invoice

  • Hours actually worked
  • Only the parts you fitted
  • The call-out if it applies
  • The address

Questions about this job

What if it was only a call-out and no repair?

Keep the call-out, delete the rest, and say you diagnosed it. Do not invent a repair.

Can I add a second part?

Yes. Add it to the line as another price. Mention it in the text if it moves the total.

Where is the longer plumber layout?

The plumber invoice template is linked under this script.

A ready-to-send script still needs the parts you actually used. Delete the rest.
