If the repair is not finished because a part is on order, invoice only the diagnostic and say the repair follows.

What if the fault comes back?
Your warranty is a sentence, and a return visit is free only if you said it would be. Do not resend the same invoice as a new demand.
Should I text a fleet manager?
Yes, and put the registration in the message. They will not open ten links to find the right van.
Can I take a card on the driveway and still send this?
Yes. Send the invoice and mark it paid. The text is the receipt as well as the bill.
A part price with no part name is the line a fleet manager will reject.
