Multi-currency text invoices
Label the invoice with the currency you actually billed. The text should say the currency in words. InvoiceTXT does not convert currencies for you.
Name the currency in the text and on the invoice
Multi-currency, for a small business, usually means you billed a foreign client in one agreed currency. It does not mean the software guessed a conversion. Agree the currency in the quote. Put that code on the invoice. In the API, currency is a three-letter code such as USD, EUR or GBP. The page shows the code when it is not USD. The SMS should say “pounds” or “euros” or “dollars” because a bare number is ambiguous. You are responsible for the rate you quoted. Nothing here watches the market and reprices the wedding.

The invoice is a bad moment to discover they meant a different dollar.
Write the currency in words in the SMS
Symbols are easy to misread in a text.
Set the code on the invoice
Through the API, send currency. In the line you type by hand, say the currency in the message even if the preview uses a dollar sign.
Do not convert in the thread
One currency per invoice. A second number “in your money” becomes a second price.

What if I was paid in a different currency by mistake?
Record what you agreed and what arrived as two facts. Do not silently edit the invoice to the amount that happened to land.
Can one customer have two currencies?
Yes, as two invoices. Do not mix them on one page.
Say the currency in the text. A number without a currency is a future argument.
