What the invoice can carry

Schedule a text invoice for later

Create the invoice now, copy the link, and send the text when you said you would. InvoiceTXT does not sit in your messages app and send at 9am by itself.

Draft now, send on the day you promised

Scheduling sounds like a robot in the SMS app. What you actually need is the invoice finished before the moment of sending, so Friday morning is a paste and not a reconstruction. Create it when the last lesson ends, leave it as a draft, and send the link on the day the parent expects. If you need a machine to send it, your own software can call the API and your own messaging tool can send the text. InvoiceTXT will not fire an SMS at a chosen hour. Pretending it does would be a worse product than this explanation. A draft you prepared is still the difference between a Friday invoice and a forgotten one.

Message you can send

I’ll send Paper Trail Locks’s lesson invoice on Friday, when the block ends. The draft is ready.

01

Create the draft when the facts are fresh

Friday-you should not have to remember Wednesday’s count.

02

Send on the day the customer expects

A parent who is used to Friday should not get a Tuesday surprise.

03

Do not send early and call it efficient

Early bills for unfinished lessons cause replies you then have to undo.

04

Use your own scheduler if you truly need unattended sending

The API creates the invoice. Your SMS provider sends the text.

What to put on this invoice

  • A finished draft
  • A send date you can keep
  • The link waiting to paste
  • Your own messaging tool if it must be unattended

Questions about this job

Can I queue the SMS inside InvoiceTXT?

No. The product will not text your customer on a timer. You send it, or your own system does.

Will a draft confuse the customer?

Not if you do not send the link. A draft is private until the text goes out.

What about a monthly client?

Create the next draft from the same lines and change the dates. The schedule is your calendar.

The useful schedule is a draft that exists before the send. The send itself stays in your hands.
