What the invoice can carry

Text invoice with a photo of completed work

Send the photo and the invoice as neighbours in the chat. The photo shows the work. The link is the bill. InvoiceTXT does not turn the photo into the invoice.

Two messages, two jobs

Customers love the photo and ignore a bill that is only a photo. Send the picture first so they can see the finished beds, the closed consumer unit, the clean oven. Send the invoice underneath as text with a link. Caption the photo with what it is, not with the price. Prices in image captions are hard to copy and impossible to file. There is no upload on the invoice that embeds the photo into the PDF. If you need the picture in your own records, keep it in the chat or in your camera roll. Do not make the customer pinch-zoom a photo to find the total.

Message you can send

Beds are done — photo above. Invoice for 6 hours and the mulch, due in 14 days: https://invoicetxt.com/i/your-link

01

Photo first, invoice second

They see the work, then the number.

02

No prices inside the image

The number lives in the text and on the page.

03

Caption what the photo is

“Rear slope after the repair” beats “image”.

04

Keep the invoice link out of the image

A link in a picture cannot be tapped reliably.

What to put on this invoice

  • A photo of the finished work
  • A separate invoice message
  • Prices only in the text and on the page
  • A caption that says what they are looking at

Questions about this job

Can I attach the photo to the PDF?

Not in this product. The PDF is the bill. The chat holds the photo.

What if they only save the picture?

The following message is the bill. If you send only the picture, you did not invoice them.

Should before-and-after both go?

Yes, if it helps. They are still not the invoice.

The photo earns the trust. The link asks for the money. Send both, in that order.
